From Baa Baa Black Sheep to the Three Little Pigs, enjoy real life encounters with stars of children's rhymes and stories. Meet our goats, donkeys, calves, pigs and alpacas. You can purchase animal feed from the admissions desk.

Guinea Pig Village

3. Guinea Pig Village

Hatton's 300 resident guinea pigs live here in their very own miniature village. There are many different types of guinea pig with varying colours, textures, patterns and sizes. Drop by to say hello and you're sure to enjoy a few cuddles.

Tractor Trek, sand pit, play houses and lots of fun - a special place for youngsters.

Pony Rides

5. Pony Rides

A great opportunity to introduce your little ones to horseback riding! Our friendly ponies are hand led making the rides safe and fun! Additional charge applies. Open Easter to October, weekends and school holidays

Adventure Land

6. Adventure Play

Full on action where children can play on swings, fly through the air on the zip wire and play at being farmer on our life size tractor! Also on the farm we have swing boats, climbing frame with a bouncy slide and our Kidbine Harvester.

7. Tristan the Runaway Tractor

Enjoy a tractor trailer ride and prepare for some gentle fun as this journey takes some unexpected turns. Listen to the story of the farm and wave to all the characters along the route. Daily from Easter to October.

Nature Trail to Hatton Locks

8. Nature Trail to Hatton Locks

Take a leisurely stroll to the famous Hatton Locks with its' flight of 21 locks known as the "Stairway to Heaven" and keep an eye out for wildlife and wild flowers as you walk.

Bird-o-batics Falconry Displays

12. Bird-o-batics Falconry Displays

Meet our birds of prey and discover why they are truly "masters of the air" as they display their incredible skill and agility in our spectacular Falconry Displays. We have a mix of birds including hawks, falcons and owls and try to involve the audience wherever possible.

15. Rare Breeds Farm

Hatton is an approved Rare Breeds Farm involved in the conservation, breeding and promotion of rare or endangered breeds of farm animals. Some of the breeds you will see include Longhorn Cattle, White Park Cattle, Wensleydale Sheep, Tamworth Pigs and Gloucester Old Spot Pigs.

17. Hatton Sheepstakes

The sheep will be paraded so you can pick your winner, place your bet with the farmer and cheer on your sheep as it races for the finishing line - racing gone Baa-my! If your sheep is first across the line you will win a special badge. Sheep racing takes place Easter to October, weekends & school holidays.

Be amazed by the skill of our sheepdog as she herds our daft ducks around an obstacle course of mini see-saws and gates. Can she get them all to round up at the end of the course? Easter to October only.

Gold Rush

Try your hand at panning for gold - great fun for all ages. Dig deep through the water into the sand and find ten pieces of gold to win a medal!

Country Fun Fair

Fairground fun for youngsters with old fashioned fairground rides including a merry-go round and spinning tea-cup ride. Open daily from Easter to October.

Bouncy Castles

21. Bouncy Castle and Super Slide

A chance for the children to let off steam with a large helping of inflatable fun! We have two bouncy castles - one for the younger kids and one for older kids. (weather permitting)

28. Bouncy Barn Soft Play Centre

Our indoor Bouncy Barn Soft Play Centre is open daily from 9.30am - 4.00pm, entrance is £2.25 per child (£1.00 with a wristband) for 1/2 hour play.

There is a height restriction of 4'6" rather than an age.

 

A great opportunity for the children to let off steam whatever the weather with a bouncy slide, climbing frames and ball pit.
