Acres of fun! For adults and children

Schools and Groups

A visit to Hatton Farm Village is a unique chance for young minds to explore the countryside - discovering its beauty, its fascinating inhabitants and its agricultural importance. There's also the chance for children to let off steam too! Ideal for Key Stages 1 and 2, educational visits to Hatton encourage cross-curricular learning across a broad range of ages from pre-school upwards. Plus the exciting mix of features and activities ensures there is never a dull moment.

Hands-on learning

Encounters with pets, like guinea pigs in their very own village, give children first-hand experience of holding and feeding small animals. There's also the chance to meet rabbits, lambs and goats. Our resident ducks, geese and chickens give a colourful view of bird life and there's a host of bigger characters to befriend including Jake and Katy, our ponies, Hatty the Highland and Shaun the sheep to name just a few!

Daily demonstrations

Specially created for children, our daily demonstrations are both fascinating and entertaining. Discover the intelligence and agility of birds of prey in the stunning 'Bird-o-batics' Falconry Display and witness the antics of Daft Duck Trials - sheepdog trials gone quackers!

Guided tours

Experienced and friendly guides can be booked to ensure children get the maximum benefit from their visit. You will be guided around the Farm Village and have the opportunity to take part in the daily demonstrations. There will be the chance to ask questions. Guides are free, when requested, for bookings of at least £130.

Goodie bags

As a souvenir of the day, why not pre-order goodie bags for the children which include a pen, pencil, eraser, pencil sharpener, ruler etc (contents may vary) £2.25 each. To order please refer to the Booking Form.
